sigh, goodbye Mininova.org

For anyone that doesn't know, one of the world's top Bittorrent finder sites is now "content distribution only" so that pretty much means no more good stuff... just documentaries and useless crap...

I'm using btjunkie.com but does anyone have another great one? (like one where the mods actually care enough to filter out all the BS)

Thanks

Pirate bay is alright, but from what hear can be risky.... Btjunkie is ok, and I'm checking out torrentzap.com (it has a similar feel as mininova)

torrents suck anyway news servers will change your life.. I download at my full connection speed so about 20mbps

download "grabit"
sign up at " http://www.newzbin.com/ "
sign up at " http://www.news.astraweb.com/plans.html "

Setup grabit for the astraweb server, use newzbin to search for nzb files.. download the nzb file and it will open up in grabit and download SUPER fast.

all private servers too

you're welcome...

supposedly the new type of bit torrents are magnet links, to be used with "magnetise." haven't tried it yet but the rummer is that the sharing is not tracked and therefore untraceable.
