That's a GLOCK "Shovel", AKA Trenching tool. You can see the saw that attaches to the handle by screw on collar. The blue flashlight on the bottom is called a "Borealis 1050", it utilizes a maglight body, but is 1050 lumens instead of the standard LED maglight 120 lumens. It burns so hot that it catches paper on fire on contact!

Just some images of my stuff I had laying around on my website. There's more, but too lazy to upload.

I love it, it's quite a fullfilling Martial art.

Darkonion, actually it's Aiki-jitsu and Ken-jitsu. Aikido is the modern form of the former. "Aiki" means something like "Open hand", "Ken" means sword, and "jitsu" means "arts". Or so I've been told in the past. That's the really great thing about Japanese in my mind, the name of a thing tends to be exactly what that thing is. =)

Yeah, we typically don't use steel swords in Aikido - mostly wooden; and Ken and Aiki are the parenthood of Aikido, before it was developed and branched off by Ōsensei Morihei Ueshiba about 100 years ago.

Funny haha or funny strange?

Aikido isn't much of a spectator sport - its just one guy throwing another guy around typically.

If you want to see it in action - see it live.

Most of my practice is with a bokken as well. The one time I went to an Akido dojo they were aghast that I brought my Shin-ken. I practice with my shin-ken only alone, bokken practice I do alone and with a partner.

A question about Aikido though, in Aiki we tend towards the fact that if you need more than one hit/move to disable/kill someone, you did something wrong. Most of my instructors have emphasized that to attack first is a sign of impatience and inexperience, that it's generally better to wait for your opponent to attack you and use their energy against them. Is it about the same for Aikido?

Funny strange. Like most of the videos don't look right.

I think this one looks legit. The other ones on YouTube don't look so hot.
