Im not driving out there in total fear of someone creeping up on me, but I live in Burlingame, where the first shooting happened, my girlfriend drives home late at night on that road. As I said above the guy that got killed was actually in my graduating class and I played football with him. The second shooting, just south of Army Street, is the exit I take to go to work every day.

Like I said, Im not in fear, but it is something to be on the look out for especially when 2 of the 3 shooting happen on a stretch that I drive every day.

I have lived in some pretty ghetto places in my life. I've seen drive buys. I've seen beat downs, pistol whippings, curb stompings, dead bodies...etc.

If you're the one person out of the couple hundred thousand traveling the road that day that gets plucked...and you die..which is even crazier....then I hope you've made piece with your God cause for some reason it was your time to go.

Living in fear is pointless. **** it. That's what I say. I've done so much stupid crap where I could have died. I figure when it's my time...I had it coming. I just hope my wife/family is taken care of. I mean I'd like to put a few mini hell raisers on the planet and even seen them graduate college and make there own but I've lived some good times. Worryin ain't in my gene's bro.

Not about death anyways...

and on a side note...I have had the trigger pulled on me. Stories for another time cause most of you would think I was crazy if I told you.

I agree, we can definitely worry about it................but it won't make a difference. If they pick you they pick you........be nice to have something to return fire with tho............

I'm sure its gang related to some extent, i'd think if they are killing randomly they'd have something to gain from it.......rather than all that risk for nothing but who knows...............

That being said, what little ***** came up with that. Why not go kill your enemies instead of random people???

this is what happens when 16 year olds have gunssssssss

yeah...honestly if it happened constantly around an area that I drove EVERY DAY I wouldn't worry about myself but I probably would worry about my wife.

Did the guy you know die? If so that's crazy. I only graduated with 102 people so if something happened to someone I knew that'd be trippy.

More so south of Palo Alto as someone else mentioned, but I have seen them north up to the city a few times. One spot is the east side of the fwy just north of Edgewood road. Another is north of there also on the east side, they hide up on the grass there. I have seen plenty of CHP between San Mateo and San Francisco on 280, but it is never predictable.

He gave me a picture of the mustang that flew by me... How I knew was he gave me a pic showing the front of the mustang which has a front plate, I dont have one.. heh got let go due to that technicality...

no crap. coming back from san bruno weekend before last I was smashing down 280. Going up to 100 back down...etc. Just having fun on the autobahn.... I look behind me and I see a car slowly creepin on me and doing it much to smoothly. I just knew. I came up behind an A4 wagon and slowed down..no brakes. I look up to see where the car was and it was probably 6 feet off my back bumper...just close enough that I could clearly see the CHP hat and the light rack.

the very strange part was......he drove behind me. Then put his blinker on and drove right by me. Got off at the next exit.

I was like...WTF????? He had me cold on anything above 85.

Crazy thing is...I got pulled over in the middle of rush our traffic the other day for expired tags....been expired since august....ooops.

Don't understand why he didn't pop me...but thanks goes out to the kind chp..not many.

Nothing beats first-hand experience, just go do some 120mph laps on 280.

Unfortunately I was just being an *** and don't really know. I do know that a friend went to LA and when he came back there was a ticket in the mail with his smiling face behind the wheel of his car in a pic... Not sure if that's the same deal tho.

Would this be in the late 80's/early 90's?
