This is the third shooting in 4 days. The first one, in Burlingame, I went to high school with him.

101 is good for a lot of things:

Traffic
narrow lanes
crappy concrete patch jobs
S**tty scenery
random road debris every few miles
crappy drivers

but yeah it is cool to pass by Malibu GP outdoor track.

280 rules anytime of day, besides CHP waiting to get you

Pretty rare between Palo Alto and the City. It's usually free and clear of cops and traffic.

bah...101 is the least of my worries.

Shoot I had a gunned pulled on me on 580 through walnut creek....where the big houses are. Fricken attempted car jacking. Had one pulled on my on 880 during an altercation with some cornfed white boy.

people in this world are crazy.

I'm more worried about deer jumping out in front of me on my drive home at night.

yea but u had a gun pulled on you, actually getting shot would be a lot worse. You knew when the guy pulled it he wasn't going to use it I bet, where as these people just got blasted.

Im a little worried, theres also been a lot of random shootings in richmond. Granted its terrible these shootings are known to be random targets.

That's my point...RANDOM....

why be worried about something you can not stop. You're much more likely to get smashed by another car or hit a deer or have a blow out and wreck...etc. Worry about that. Getting shot...bah. if it happens it happens.

I have lived in some pretty ghetto places in my life. I've seen drive buys. I've seen beat downs, pistol whippings, curb stompings, dead bodies...etc.

If you're the one person out of the couple hundred thousand traveling the road that day that gets plucked...and you die..which is even crazier....then I hope you've made piece with your God cause for some reason it was your time to go.

Living in fear is pointless. **** it. That's what I say. I've done so much stupid crap where I could have died. I figure when it's my time...I had it coming. I just hope my wife/family is taken care of. I mean I'd like to put a few mini hell raisers on the planet and even seen them graduate college and make there own but I've lived some good times. Worryin ain't in my gene's bro.

Not about death anyways...

and on a side note...I have had the trigger pulled on me. Stories for another time cause most of you would think I was crazy if I told you.

If you're on the freeway and someone pulls out a gun, throw out the anchor. Don't worry about who's behind you, your safety comes first. Exit the freeway if possible, otherwise pull to the nearest shoulder. If the they do the same you need to call 911 with a description of the vehicle (and driver if possible) (you should do this anyways) and keep as much space between yourself as you feel is needed to preserve your safety (taking in to consideration the safety of those around you).

Just keep your eyes open. And if you do get shot, please have the presence of mind to not crash... We like your car, and I guess we like you too :-)

this could be a gang initiation process. I've heard stories couple of years back that a gang made their new members drive around at night with their headlights off, and when someone flash them to warn that they're headlight is off, they have to fire three shots into the car. (something like that) .

That story was going around for a long time. It was supposedly an urban legend but I know in the watsonville area it reportedly happened a few times and it was something in our papers when I was in high school. For a while there my folks wouldn't even let me go to downtown watsonville cause people were just getting shot at. Specially white kids.
