it was clever, but, imo, ill-advised. there are just some things/people you don't mess with. Anyone that knows people in law enforcement can tell you that they don't appreciate being joked about....inadvertantly or otherwise.

i just hope others don't suffer real repercussions from the joke.

 

In a addition to the aforementioned sandwich incident, we concocted a scheme to parody all the paranoia surrounding car meets lately and fabricate an over the top raid in the Presidio this morning. It spread like wildfire and Bob feels bad because some took it very seriously.

No big deal, this has potential to be one of the best i-club jokes of the year. I expect an award at next years 'Mt. Hammy' meet.

That joke was supremely stupid for more reasons than I care to name, but it's not like you should be banned or anything like that.
