see if your going to do that you might as well do an LS swap, weighs less, sits further back and costs less money.

i need some clean underwear...

Ive seen a Miata with RB25 NA swap, looked hot

Question: so a rb25 (non turbo) in a Miata would be better off making it a V8 miata? weight/ position wise? (obviously not power, i realize the v8 would rule)

Ive driven around in a 240 with a SB 350 before, theres no traction at all(try getting bigger than 245s out back), their wheel base is too short (both hands on the wheel at ALL times!) and the 30+yo frame just cant handle that much torque.

post a couple pics if you can, I'll tell you what year it is
my thoughts exactly. I was raised with my mom smashing around in a 240. I've been around them my whole life.

Sticking a sbc in there is the easy lazy way to make power in one and the absolute WRONG way to go if you want to do anything besides go in strait lines.

They do not have the right rpm/power ranges to anything but go strait. I've driven them both ways. Those inline's are about the best motors you can get. They're durable as all hell. The power delivery is right where it needs to be. I think those in6's are some of the most overlooked motors around. Lots you can do with an in6.

if you're first thoughts are... oh man drop a small block in that thing man... then please cut of your mullet and pass that car over to someone that respects it's history and potential.

jeez I hope nobody is out trying to set a 240Z up for drifting! With its narrow track when it starts to spin its really difficult to keep it from swapping ends (ask me how I know!)

theres alot better cars if you just want to drift
