should i be scared of my soon to be exhaust setup
At the moment I'm running the stock downpipe with a catless uppipe and a kakimoto gt 1oz catback (modded to fit USDM DP) and it is already pretty damn loud. I also just ordered a stromung shorty DP though, so I don't know what to expect in terms of how loud this is gunna be. The catback has no resonator but luckily ill have 1 cat, should i be scared? I have ran a perrin catless DP with a apexi n1 exhaust in the past, but my current setup already surpasses my former catless setup =p.
Also, whats the ticket for modifying the DP but still keeping a cat?

I have almost the same setup (catless up, Stromung shorty dp, stock third cat and a Perrin catback). If your setup is already loud, I don't think the addition of the Stromung downpipe will raise the decibels too much more, although you'll get the clear sound of your turbo spooling up. Don't be afraid, just rock it

thanks for the reply, that makes a me feel a bit better, I do miss the sound of my turbo spool of when i was catless too =). I dont wanna get pulled over, but I love the sound of this catback even though its pretty damn loud.

yup, but its more of a potatoe cannon gun rather than the full blown watermelon shooter =P. I guess ill be expecting a ticket though, but in my mind it will be worth it.

I love this catback though and I'm not sure if people would be diggin the rewelded hangers (in order to fit USDM DP). The only way ill sell this catback is if I get stopped, then i'll start to think about it =)

the Kakimoto is hands down the most obnoxious exhaust I have ever heard on a WRX, you might as well just run an open exhaust past the mid-pipe since it wont be much louder and you at least wont get nailed on the visual of having a shiny canister exhaust.
