The Wilson shotguns are really a Scattergun Technologies shotgun. They are very good and sound guns.

870s are easy to work on. Polishing certain parts inside yields very nice results. Backboring the chamber reduces recoils and makes the shot pattern tighter.

Even though many of my co-workers like the traditional shape of the standard/ police 870s, I wanted to make mine feel similar to my patrol M4 carbine. Even though it's a little bit heavier, my 870 indexes to the target just as fast as my duty M4.

I'd go with a Vang Comp before a Wilson. My uncle has one and it is an absolute JOY to shoot. Just $$$

I don't see why not... that's their cheap Maverick gun, right?

I'd wait for Big 5 to have their < $200 Moss 500 sales, than get the 88

Definetly, I love the Wilsons though. The 870 frame I think is the only platform to pass the test of time like the 1911 has. Trusty pieces of work they are.
