Short Shifter/Shift **** Problem
I have an STi **** on the car and I think I stripped the threads on the plastic piece the **** goes on. Reason being is b/c the **** is very loose and will not thread, it just keeps spinning around and around.
I thought that getting a new shifter would solve this problem, so I got a Kartboy SS. Well, now I realize that the piece of plastic that I stripped underneath the **** is important and needs to be transfered to the kartboy. My question is where do I get a new plastic piece with threads and what the heck is it called? Any help would be appreciated. Hopefully, you guys know what im talkin about.

try subaruparts.com and email them. if not there, youre just gonna have to buy a new shift ****. im sure you could try some sort of press-fit process with other plastics. thats just trial and error.
