Wow, I guess we'll see what happens in the next few days. Could be that dude left a cop hurt, and waited for backup and blasted them instead. I remember seeing some movie on that... and the news is turning more into movies cuz folks are being more desparate.

Damn crazy...I knew of a few grow ops on branciforte, few drug houses when I lived in SC
Just the other week a 21yr old female student was shot in the back of the head during a robbery on the westside and survived, and just before that an owner of a martial arts place got shot and killed downtown by the red room
In 5 years I lived there I never experience any violence...just a few random watsonville homie shootings...
Speakin of which, the martial arts guy was shot by people who were later found in watsonville

Damn, Santa Cruz has changed...used to be fistfights and mean-mugs from the westsiders were the worst thing to happen on a drunk Friday night, let alone a Tuesday afternoon at Whole Foods...
Glad we don't live over there anymore. Too much bull**** and the whole area is too hung up on trying to stay "Santa Cruz" so they're slow to adapt to anything and everything.

My friends cousin was stabbed to death 2 years ago, for nothing. He was not gang affiliated or wearing any type of clothing that was associated with it.
