sfwrx2, how well does the hks **** fit on your STi? Does it have space to compensate for the reverse lock-out ring? i was told it wouldn't work so i went for the prova **** since they had a 6-speed version specifically.

hmmm... interesting ****...
I had this before

very heavy as well, but I don't really like the palm grip type. I like the OEM 'ball' shape better. But that RA68 so heavy it made shifting much nicer.

I have the STi piston shape shift **** right now and I don't like at all. Just looks cool, but sucks for shifting (due to my preference and style). However, it's very heavy as well, which makes shifting pretty nice.

I've waiting/looking for an OEM shape shift **** that is at least 400g and leather wrap. That would be perfect for me!

I have this on my car:

Its resin like the one sfwrx2 posted, but the flat part is on the top instead of slightly angled, unless that picture above of the HKS ones are taken at a wierd angle.

Yes, I have the same one on my Legacy. Its a wonderful ****. It never gets too hot. I like the wierd angle cut (totally drift yo!). Its a tad bit smaller then most *****, but I like the way it fits.

Damn, I would have opted to get the HKS one but no one could tell me if it fits or not. I was scared of that there wouldn't be any space for the reverse lock-out ring. O well, the prova is still fine for me. Thanks for the reply.

The HKS one threads on like an OEM **** (actually, better then some of the momo factory options which still use set screws)
