This is what a lot of people use and I do too. It is desil oil yes, but I've been told its the best for my 06 wrx so I don't question it. Someone will go into great detail I bet. But

I switched from M1 10w30 to the T6 5w40 and have no complaints. Car runs great with it and hasn't been burning any oil between changes (at least that I can notice).

T6 has resulted in great oil analysis after being used in a wrx/sti. Its what I use and its fairly cheap and easy to come by.

I've used Rotella T6 5w40 and know many that use it. It's a good oil and I haven't heard of any issue.
