Some guy in Hawaii wants her. I am deeply saddened...
My whole philosophy is that if I wait too long, with the release of the STi and all, depreciation is going to eat her alive...what do you guys think?
It makes me sick. I know that it is a hunk of Metal, Plastic, fabric, and leather, but damn, this girl is a part of me!
I am having too many emotions right now...
I am thinking of taking her off of the market...

yeah dude, it's a lot of blood sweat and tears. but unless you really have an attachment to the car, you gotta let it go. you'll thank yourself later when you can use all that extra money to buy an even sicker car... or better yet send your kid to college.

If I get another sports car anytime soon, it won't be a Scoob...sorry to say that! The motor just doesn't do it for me...not enough potential...and, I just have my reasons
I hear the JDM EVO VIII calling my name in the distance...but...I just want to compile money for now...something to save for a rainy day...

I have two opinons..
1.) Think of you future family! hehe. Sell the car to a good buyer, and save the money for use later on down the road, perhaps towards the purchase of a volvo station wagon, or a nice, large, overpriced SUV
. Really, this money could go a long way in terms of building a family
2.) You only live once...haha..might as well keep the blood, sweat, tears, sleepless nights

Raising a family > cool WRX
You gotta make sacrifices for a better future for your loved ones.
You can always build another cool car later, but building a family starts soon.

Andy,
I don't know you personally or your financial/transportation situation. However, I would think carefully about getting rid of your car. You make the statement that "depreciation will eat you alive". I do see your point about the new body style and the STi being out. But realize that depreciation curves are typically very steep in the early years and flatten out in the later years. Said another way, car's lose a lot of value in the first three or four years compared to the value they lose later on.
Just something to think about, I'm sure you'll make the best decision for your situation.

dump her!
i would dump mine in a sec if i had enough extra income to afford the STI (in my case it would be the STI) payments over my wrx.
think of it this way, your making a small sacrafice now, for something better later (the big picture).
good luck either way,
East Bay Andy

I feel that the Subaru's are better built cars (Except for the crappy 5mt).
And defiantely we have a MUCH better community. Everybody, especially here in the bay, are all friends and mature. Even the young'ns.
Good luck with you new pimp ride!

And I'm not the only one. For now I'm having fun-not gonna get caught up in the STI craze. I don't see why I should bow down to that car. They better watch out for me.
