haha I must have some old school airbills in that case cuz mine don't have an option for that....I always thought airbills were only for packages sent "air"

Hey Spidey, can you tell me the rev date on your airbills (bottom right corner)

Not because I am doubting you, just out of curiousity.

Thanks,
Zoeb

Well I just got off the phone with FedEx and they do not have anything they can send me. There are sending out someone to look at the package tommorrow. I still haven't heard back from the sender regarding a copy of the shipping reciept, but I figure he just hasn't logged onto the boards yet so I'll give him till tommorrow to respond.

Oh yeah thanks for all the help guys, makes this stupid thing less painful in a way.

ditto! and as a claim rep. for fedex if that is the case... its the senders fault not ours. im sure when your rep. comes out tomorrow he will determine whos at fault

sorry to hear..

He faxed me over his reciept from the palce he sent it from. It is insured but not thorugh FedEx. I talked to the guy from the shipping place and they said that if the package is not worth more than $1000 then they don't use FedEx insurance, they have their own insurance. So the pacakge was insured thorugh the shipping company, but the guy who sent it to me has to initiate the claim, I cann't start it.

So I have FedEx coming over to my work tommorrow to look at this messed up box and decided wheter or not I'm entiltled to $100, and I msged the guy to ask him to initiate a claim at the palce he shipped it from. So if he initiates a claim I should be getting my full $200 dollars back. $100 from FedEx, which they bill to the shipping comapny, and another $100 from the shipping company itself.

Looks like what happend, as someone mentioned before, is that the box was packed badly and it probably ripped in FedEx hands. They put the parts back in but not all of them. So I'm guessing both parties are to blame.

Oh I still rather have my parts than go through this whole ordeal...

That sucks. I hear ya on the packaging. As someone who has driven for FedEx for YEARS, I've seen those poorly packed boxes fall apart as soon as I lift them. Heavy items like yours,if not properly "braced" inside a box, will roll and bounce all over the box, increasing the chances of the box falling apart.
Hope you get everything sqaured out with the seller and FedEx.
