You'll want to run in the morning to be safe. The event usually wraps up around 5:00 but there always seems to be traffic leaving Marina. RG3 may be ok.

not sure of my class or anything. (100% stock brz + catback exhaust)
so in my head im guessing i could show up morning of (not sure what time) and register and try to run the earliest class. im not sure if i could split my runs with my fiance who would like to try it also? and then after i have to "work" some runs. not sure what that consists of besides im assuming resetting cones.
so helmets i can borrow?
id imagine bringing painters tape for numbering.
make sure my car is empty so **** doesnt get thrown around.
anything else i need to consider or think about to enjoy a smooth first autocross event?

Don't worry about class, they'll place you.
You can't split runs, it's an insurance thing.
For Marina, bring jacket, gloves, hat and sunblock. It's windswept and no matter how much sun can get COLD there. Bring something to eat/drink, and a folding chair; there's nothing on site.

If you don't care about running in class/want to run in a different run group, you can choose to run as FUN. In that case, you would be "FUN CS".
There should be enough loaner helmets to use at the event. Definitely bring painters tape and make sure it contrasts with the car's color. I'd also suggest bringing some drinks and snacks.
