I was supposed to park in Long Term parking but the lot was full, so they allowed me to park in the regular parking garage at the airport and pay the Long term rate.
I'll be using the Long Term lot this August when the wife and baby and I go to Vegas for a week.

I've used the long term lot dozens of times with no issue - both my car and my wife's. The awesome part is if you have Fastrak you don't even have to deal with paying for it right away. It charges your Fastrak account and you just pay it when your Fastrak replenishes. Super easy, and the shuttles run every 5 minutes.

FWIW, I just reserved a spot at Fastrack (an off-site long-term lot near SFO). I've used quite a few off-site long-term lots in the past (for both OAK and SFO) and have never had a problem. Fastrack was the least expensive I could find right now at $10.00 per day.
