As for Jamie, heh... did you see her in Maxim last year? To think that I drove her to church before
I can't believe that she's supposed to be Chi Chi in the DBZ flick coming out. It gives me a massive headache just thinking about it

yes, mclaren park is still a rough area. they've been trying to clen up the area forever, incl putting in that dog park area penguin mentioned, but it's still a pretty unsafe spot. i'd be really careful around there, penguin. even w/your doggy and during the day, stuff happens over there. one of my fam members was pretty up there in sfpd and i have several friends+acquaintances that currently roll, so i hear about the bad stuf and other goings on in the city. one of my best hs buds is in the gang task force in the east bay, so i hear a lot about out yonder too.

sf is definitely a small city tho, esp among asians.....too small. everyone knows everyone.....and usually has been w/the same people too. i was never down for that. that's why i loved being in LA. turns out it's a pretty small world down there too tho.
anyways, good that Chi Chi's getting hers. even tho she's a k-girl, it's all good. at least she's putting more Asians on the Hollywood map.....even if it is more chop socky stuff like Samurai Girl and Dragonball.

lol i knew you'd remember that thread about jamie. but, no, i didn't see her Maxim spread. my free subscription is still going strong (til 2015, i think) but i can't remember the last time i actually looked through an issue. i'd feel weird about looking at her pics anyways. it'd be like jocking one of my buddies' lil sisters. that's why i stay outa the clubs+longes up here unless i really have to go for a b-day or something.....hella awkward when i see my boys scammig on my friends' lil sisters, my cousins' friends, etc. hahaha

But yeah, I know what you mean about the Asian community... "mixing it up" a little too much
And like you said, it's the same deal in LA and it's the same deal here on the island, too. That's why I hate to say it, but I've always liked "international students" haha! Especially those of the Japanese persuasion 
As for Asians in Hollywood, sure, why the hell not? The more the better for the Asian community as a whole, I suppose haha. Although I find it surprising that Jamie got tapped for action roles
