no doubt it takes skills to do illusions, i just hate when i see them on camera, and you can never trust the participants/actors whatever they are.
i especially hate when they cut the film for a trick, you cant beat one continuous stream of footage, once you cut the film, you lose a lot of trust from viewers.
thats the only thing that i hate.
dont even try to tell me there is one foot on the ground there, and what a fake drop shadow.

i love magic. i know magic is fake. there is no such thing as real magic. we just not smart enough to figure out how to do it. so just believe its magic.
but can someone tell me what is the dive of the death all about? that really disspointed me. i was waiting for that for 2 hours, and he jump down, and got pulled back up by a string and went up to the sky. WTH is that??? i can do that too. they made it sound so serious like he really might die. i really think he mess up. and just pull back up.

but in the vid Kyle showed, he levitates about 1 foot off the ground, compared to the 2-3 inches or so that you're describing.
The way the guy (who looks alot like Sidney haha) explains it in the video above about being at a 45 degree angle, the vid Kyle showed has him at a backward angle that clearly shows both feet off the ground.

There was a show about revealing magic tricks on channel 4 few months back. The levitation trick is nothing but ropes pulling the douche up in the air. Basically, the 3 ladies' reaction is recorded while watching him do the 'one foot on ground trick'. Then he re-films himself using ropes to pull him up, and the film is edited with the reaction of the ladies as to seem as if he really levitated.
so..
All i gotta say is his Illusions are off the hook. It would be a shame if all his tricks are edited though.
But I still give the man props. I mean he took two punches from Kimbo slice......unless you think that was all set up......(shiz looked real to me)
