Sadly most scrap yards will not pay you anything due to the EPA crap they "have" to do like getting rid of al the fluids like anti-freeze, oil from motor, tranny, etc., so yeah. You could look around, in most cases you will have to have it towed to them in a "clean" condition. I could be wrong though

We had a crappy blown engine mid 90's grand am picked up and the place gave us $200. The same guys offered me $150 if I brought the truck in. Which defeats the purpose of why I wanted them to get it. If I scrap it It'll be in 2000 pieces in the back of a trailor probably. I'll just cut the living crap out of it until it all is in 2-4 foot pieces. Who knows. For now I'm just stoked that I look out my bedroom window and see the drive way.

Shayne... you da man. We're having a little white trash bbq at the house on Sat. Dirty jeans, buck teeth, trucker hats, cheap beer and ****** tonk music. It's my brother's 25th bday. Starts at 6. You guys feel like coming out and grabbing a beer come on out. Same for all you other local guys. You know where I live. This isn't gonna be like it has in years past with 150 pounds of freedom meats, kegs and bands (don't have the dough right now) but it will still be fun. Specially if I can track down some more moon shine.

I'm pretty sure Jeff will be there.

Shayne if you come out come empty handed. The rest of you suckas byob.. booze, beer, burgers, and other such b words.

Just look for the big fire and the pirate flag.

We'll be there after our Dentist appointments at 3 and 3:30. We'll probably be there about 5:30-6. But I don't think I'll be drinking. I'll explain that to you when I get there.

Cool. Be good to see you guys. If you're coming in early give a call cause we might be in gilroy buying some beerskis or snausage.

I'm sure I can figure out the no drinking seems as how you guys aren't gonna stay out here.

Nah cause Dawn would drive no problem. I've started figuring out stuff and I think my stomach is just jacked up right now and anything like that will screw me up big time for a couple of days.

Yea, we'll hit you up when we get close.

So I guess that's a maybe, but thanks for the invite.

You're lucky.

I get to wake up and drive to santa cruz. Have a finance meeting from 10am until it's over. HOURS.. probably be out there til 3 or 4pm. yeah.

but we're getting breakfast set up so all those that stay can grub down as usual. I'll probably do up a tri-tip towards the end of the night for breakfast the next day. Probably be the only real steak on the grill all night unless people have special requests and want to pay for it..haaa. Last year like 10 people said they'd pay. I got $10. And I think it was from lil' jeff.

yo jeff... you read this. You and your homies are invited. Bring cheap beer and whatever you want on the grill.
