Wag is cool for moving stuff, dog in the back (can't put a dog in the trunk), easy access, split rear seats, rear center head rest (can be used as a camera mount), and if you have to take a nap just bring your pillow and sleeping bag and you’re golden.

The handling is great with a few mods, as with any wrx, and the only other thing is the weight difference but I think the wagon is more balanced front to back than the sedan.

Good 1st mods would be bushing kit, struts/springs or coilovers, tires/rims, larger rear sway bar. I always start with suspension and then go with power mods and then brakes if you need to depending on how much power and driving needs.

If they made a STi wagon for the states then I'd get one, other wise I'm sticking with my 02 wag and just upgrade along the way until they do. I think Subaru is coming out with a XT STi, but don't quote me on that or on what it will come with if they do.

But suspension is the place to start IMO.

Plus its stealth and you won't get anyone trying to come up on you and start revving like they want some.

listen to this man...you'd be hard pressed to find a better handling/driving wagon anywhere.
