Scifi book recommendations?

Looking for scifi BOOK recommendations

I enjoyed stuff like Ender's Game, Friday, Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Dark Beyond the Stars (really loved this one), etc. Snocrash was soso (I found the universe to be amazing and found the story creative, but just could never get into it).

I also really enjoy time travel stories.

Any recommends?

Have you read the rest of the Ender series?

Carl Sagan!!! read his non-fictional work too. I know it's considered dry to a lot of people, but it poses some really interesting questions about the universe.

No... I heard disappointing reviews so I never put them high on the priority list. Not banned from my list, but other books rose above them in order of "to be consumed".

Would you recommend them?

I've read all but the new one and while they weren't as good as Ender's Game I found them to be well worth the read.

I recently enjoyed Diamond Age and Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson, same dude who wrote Snow Crash.. both are much better. I would probably say Cryptonomicon is the best novel I've ever read... not too Sci-Fi it actually takes place say present day, and WWII, but has to do with cryptology, hacking, treasure hunting, WWII, submarines, internet...... ****ing awesome book.

Altered Carbon by *forgetname* Morgan *i think*, was really good, real intense, but couldnt get into the next book in the series..

Oh... and I really like time travel stories. Preferably stuff where time gets altered.

I read Timeline, and while interesting, the time travel was more of a backdrop to get 21st century people into medieval times. Interesting, but the focus really wasn't on time travel.

Good example of time travel I like: All Us Zombies (short story), Primer, and Time Crimes (movies)

Cryptonomicon is awesome

I liked Snow Crash better, one of the best sci fi books I've read
