Police: Multiple people hurt in shooting at Christian university in East Oakland

OAKLAND -- Police are responding to reports of multiple people hurt in a shooting at a Christian university on Edgewater Drive in East Oakland.
As many as eight may have been shot and there may be fatalities, police said. Four wounded people have been brought out from the building, on 7850 Edgewater Drive, and taken away by ambulance. More are being triaged outside the building.
Police released a description of the suspect, who they said may be a student, as male, Asian, with a heavy build, wearing khaki clothing.
The address is home to Oikos University, a Christian medical school that offers classes in religious studies and nursing, according to the school's web site.
Police have shut down streets in the area. Anyone with information should Call 911 or 510-777-3321.

I had a heavy set adult asian male carpooler in my car this morning who was talking about going to "school" this morning to be expelled for blowing up on somebody last week. He went on an incoherent rant about how the corporate world is built to crap on people. I kept the conversation short with him as i couldn't see him in my blind spot but it gave me the creeps. Now i see this. I'm curious if he got out of my car, got on a bart and headed over to oakland.
