at least 2 guys didn't work 8hrs a day for 4 days while you payed for ALL parts, and claim they had done 40,000 dollars of labor between 2 guys 40hrs of work each max.

Of course the boss was chatting or listening to music in his car, prob jacked some of my ****.

still ****ty tho. Hopefully they won't come back or anything, thats the thing that would really worry me.

I'm a psychic, I now know where all your expensive belongings are!

Did your mom let her get close enough for this to happen?

Not sure. I am going to pull the buffer out in a bit and start going to town on the car. Start with my bro's car.

I'm confused:

Suspects tell your mom they can fix her car for $200.
Mom gets $200 from bank.
Dude fixes car while woman steals $200 from your mom.
Does the dude then ask for payment?

Yes. Mom did pay them $200. It isn't clear if she lost the $200 or it was stolen. I wouldn't be surprised if it was though. But at the end of it all, she did also have to pay $200 for their "work."

This happened to my sister in law. She was approched by what looked to be a husband, wife and small child and the husband offered to fix a few small scratches in the paint for $80. All he ended up doing was putting some brown/reddish paint/clay on the scratches and said to rinse it off in an hour. It didn't really rinse off, left a stain and the scratches were still there. So the car was in worse condition and my SIL out $80.

Scam 101.

That's what happened here. The tried to fill that **** with red clay and then paint over it. Did a **** job. I spent a few hours last night, wet-sanding, and then refinishing using Menzerna and Mequiar's products. Waste of my time, waste of my mom's money, and yeah. $400 in the hole. Total BS.

Invite them to BAM to do a group dent/paint repair day.

Call Child Protective Services to pick up their children - especially since they'll be orphans -

Same thing happened to my when I was in Almaden. Saw a group of kids in a tahoe their late teens early 20s drove into the parking garage, and drop one of them off. The tahoe circled around the parking lot a few times while I walked to my car, didn't think anything of it. While getting into my integra, I saw him approach a lady who looked in her 30s with an infant, murmuring something to her. She seemed a little scared and shook her head. While I was backing out he approached me and knocked on my window. He then proceeded to tell me that he would be able to fix all the dents and ding on my car, I told him it was an old car, and would be a present for my cousin once college started. He asked to buy it off me, and I refused. He seemed angry, got back into the car with his friends, and yelled something about my ****ty 97 ls, as if I didn't know already, took a right, and gunned it down Almaden expressway.
