All the hate for the '08s is hilarious. All Imprezas since '02 have been butt ffking ugly. Period. If you bought an Impreza for looks, I think you might want to have your eyesight checked.

08 sti(all 08's for that matter) is by far and away the ugliest subaru.

i have an 06 wrx and everyone loves the thing(girls more then anyone love it) I haven't had 1 person say it's ugly.

probably 80% of the reason i got my wrx is b/c of the look(the other is awd/turbo etc.), how can you say it's ugly? I like 06/07 then 04/05 then 02/03.

08 = terrible

 

My first reaction to the 02 WRX was "ugly" (then I bought it). My first reaction to the 04 STi was "ugly" (then I bought it). However, the 08 STi simply crosses the line. It may look great on paper compared to previous years, but you could strap a bucket of poo on an awesome chassis and power plant and I'm still not going to like it. IMHO of course. People like different things. I'm probably just getting old and cranky and not fastAR and furiousAR enough to like it.

Girls love my Mazda, and we all know girls have a refined taste when it comes to cars.

 

I dont care, call me crazy but I actually like it, minus the yellow paint streaks....and the wheels would look better in black.


If I had lots of disposable income I would sell my 04 STi for a new 08 STi right now......errr.....maybe I would wait until the new 09 STi comes out...supposedly it will have direct injection.

No impreza has ever been ugly and boring, I will agree they are all ugly to some degree, but not boring and cheap looking. The worst part of the cheapness is they seem to have copied the styling cues from horrid manufactures looks like a suziki/hyundai with a civic hybrid rear end.
