People like that **** me off. Not only did they not realize they were the one's in error but they had to throw race into the mix as well.

I had someone cut me off..nearly drove me into the back of a gas truck. Luckily my car was very low and able to miss the rear bumper by a bit. I proceeded to do nothing but flick my lights and give the WTF was that shrug. Which in turn made this guy drive all over the road and attempt to drive me into every obsticle on the road including other cars then following me off the freeway as I stopped trying to slow down and decided to run...and then him producing a gun as I openned my door to beat the living **** out of him. Which in turn created a large cloud of dirt as I drove away and called the cops.

Just have to realize...some people not only fail to pay attention on the road and follow basic rules of the road regarding safety and common courtesy but some are also self centered the world revolves around me angry pieces of isht.

So be careful.

You did the right thing by slowing and letting them have their way.

that's true getting shot for something like this is not acceptable. Earlier i used to be all pissed but since i started practicing medidation I say the magic words to myself "what the fu##, let them go first", just leave me alone. I like my car and please don;t scratch it.

Everyday i see people in a rush cutting across the lanes like there is a special road no one but they know about.

reminds me of that one person on here that talked about him/her getting cut off by an Escalade going way passed the speed limit and a few miles later, found them flipped over.

yeah.. just let it pass. It's not really about the nationality, (and I'm glad you didn't point out the nationality of the people sluring racial remarks which I feel is so unfortunate in the time of age AND in the Bay Area (However, it's documented that there are over 1500 hate crimes a year in California ranging from racism to sexism to sexuality). My question was a little hasty) it's about humans just being inconsiderate and hateful. But where can you really get away from that? it's pretty much everywhere

Letting them go is the way to go!

When I 1st got out of college, I bought myself a pickup truck and one day this nut job starting cutting me of repeatedly for nothing I did. I was merely driving along. I being young and foolish retaliated and drove him of the road. He went over a curb and hit something (Plastic dumpster or something like it). Right when that happened, police lights came on. Turns out the ghost car had been tailing him and saw everything. But the cop was pissed and hauled me out of my car and proceeded to book me for negligent driving (a jailable offence and a record). Sitting in the cruiser, I was praying like crazy. Luck was on my side, turns out that guy was doped up and found enough drugs on him to put him away for a long time. I was let go with a warning and escorted home with the cruiser behind my pickup.

I learnt from that day never to get mad on the road. Getting a record or shot is just not worth it. Now that I got a WRX I never have to worry. My stick driving deteriorates when I get angry or in a rush.
