Saved my STI Today

I was driving on Montegue today at noon in the left lane minding my own business. There was a ford van in the lane next to me and suddenly I see that the driver is starting to move in my lane and we will crash. I try to brake and move my car close to the median to prevent the crash. I also honk hard, the driver suddenly realises that he is in my lane trying to squash me in the median, but eventually all was well and I managed to get my car out of the mess without a scratch. At the next light I was like what are you thinking the driver apologized often.

Usually when I read posts like this, I expect the "I gassed it hard, and avoided that guys dumb driving" =). But it's great that you're health is good, and your car wasn't scratched.

Also when you honk and say, "what the F**k?" They just look at you like you are the one that messed up. People just don't look over their shoulders anymore.

This happened to me on Divisidero last weekend. A very large woman driving a minivan cut me off. I honked, she honked and flipped me off. Couple lights later I was making a right, ended up next to them. The man in the passenger seat leaned out the window and said "why don't you honk again, do a burnout you f*cking white boy, do a burnout like white boys do you f*cking white boy." All this with kids in the car. I hollered back "yeah, I am white that's true, is that all you got?

People like that are a waste of air. But then, in order to posses such a winning combination of ignorance, anger and stupidity their lives must be a lot more crappy than I have the power to make them.

LOLOL nice! I bet the look on his face when you said that was priceless. I also would have to fully agree with your closing comments too.

That is correct. It would only matter if it were me, the white boy, being racist against any other race.

The guy said "f*cking white boy" several times. My g/f and two friends were in the car with me, I will ask them. I am glad I said what I did instead of sinking to his level. I drove away thinking "what a fool" but nothing really more than that.
