My clutch just started going again. I loved the Exedy stage 1 and want to have another installed. Where should i take it?

Lic motorsports in Novato is closest to you. Can't go wrong with them.

Thanks, I'll check out FLI. Anyone know if it's always a good idea to get your flywheel resurfaced when you get a new clutch? It's an ACT StreetLite with about 90K miles (one clutch), lots of launches.

PJ's Automotive is also a good place to go for an honest mechanic. They only work on Volvos and Subarus and John (the owner) is a great guy.

Anyone know of a good CA vendor for stainless steel clutch lines? I would grab it from Amazon along with the clutch, but none are Prime eligible (only available in Amazon marketplace) and then I won't know how long it'll take to get here.

FLI should be able to order some for you at an honest price.

Hey, Art.

I'm waiting for them to call back, but I'm also getting quotes from TL Tilletts (who a friend recommended) and PJ's.

Tillett's is good (my buddy bought a car from them recently IIRC). Can't go wrong with either of those shops.

Good to hear another confirmation that they're good. They're quote was fantastic. FLI was more than twice as expensive for what I'm having done.

By the way, I was wrong about having the Exedy stage 1. I have the Exedy OEM replacement which is like half the cost so I'm getting another one of those since it lasted so long and worked so well, plus I don't need a heavier clutch peddle.

So I'm ordering the clutch kit (with throwout barring, pilot barring, and alignment tool) for $177 shipped (2 day with Prime) and I got the SS clutch line from RallySportDirect for $35.90 shipped today. Both should arrive Wednesday.

My appointment with Tilletts is Thursday and they're even going to loan me a car for the day! I made the nice lady confirm the quote included everything (resurfacing, installation of the line and flush the clutch system) because I couldn't believe they're quote was so low after talking to FLI.

Thanks for the help everyone!

Thats all on your pressure plate.

They are going to resurface your flywheel?

Also you can just buy stainless steel braided clutch lines on ebay for like 25 bucks shipped, for future references.
