Me and my girlfriend wanted to go camping with some friends up north to Tahoe or Cleak Lake or something, but everything was filled up with reservations. How did you guys get your camping spots or what not, is the campground first come first serve basis?

I might be interested though.

well the state parks take reservations and as I just found out are all full...not surprised. Usually need to call at least a couple weeks in advance this time of year.

Non state parks and some others are first come first serve.

We could go camp at Red, White and Blue....LOL. just talked to them..plenty of open spots..haaaaa.

fill me in on this party with the BOOM?

the link i posted is where i've been going for the past 4 yrs. there's always TONS of people there with hardcore fireworks (commercial grade). i found out about this place through my old boss who would spend upwards of 2k per july 4th on explosives. i usually get there around 5-6pm and chill w/ friends until it gets dark... then the fun begins. oh yeah, the cops don't bother us either cause it's been going on for years.

seriously though, the stuff you will see "almost" rivals the ones @ great america, etc.

i'll probably bring some of the stuff i have leftover from last yr.

Daym!

we will find a spot.

and as for the big boom, hehehe, I would rather not post. All of my friends told me on saturday and sunday people will be partyin on the beach till like 4 or 5 in the morning. I think we should just get a group out there and drink, and watch the fireworks.

yeah I've been there. There are volunteer crews that come and clean that beach after...takes a couple days..haaaa. It's insane the amount of crap that is all over that place.

I can't remember though....can you see the official SC fire works from there too? If so...I'm pretty sure we'll be joining you.

yeah, it gets pretty crazy down there. LOTS of booze and explosions. it's 99% white people so my friends & i stick out cause we're asian... LOL

everyone is chill though.

i don't remember being able to see SC fireworks but you could easily mistaken the amateur stuff for being professional.

well were not exaclty gonna camp out there, we will go to a beach where bon fires are allowed and stay late, then when we want to crash go to car or just fal asleep on the beach, there will be so many people out there I dont think anything will be said or done. wort comes to worst I live 30-40 minutes away go hope sleep and return with a big smile on me face.
