Santa Cruz: Best Time for Natual Bridges Monarch Trail??

Ive been to the Monarch Trail a few times but cant really get a hold of the best time to go. My SC friends say its between the end of February and March. When i call the Park they say its October and November. You guys have any idea? Thanks

you can pretty much see the butterflies all through winter but just after winter starts (i.e., november) is usually the best

ye be warned, I live very close to natural bridges, and I have to say to us "locals" (im actually just a ucsc student) there are a lot of shady bums/ people around there. be careful, especially around dusk!

I would trust the rangers that work there, personally.

usually november through march would be the good times, i'm not sure how the rainy season is though. you should be able to catch the monarchs just leaving at right about now, bring back some nice pics!
