At the SF auto show, they gave away "GTR T-shirts" at the GTR booth if you answered the right questions from the little quiz the speaker gave at the end of the demonstration. All you have to do is listen intently to what the speaker says about the GTR, and if you raise your hand quick enough you get a chance to win a t-shirt that's too big for you. I remember the speaker asked "what size are the brakes?" (15"in) "what type of suspension does it come with?" (Bilstein) a question about the transmission and maybe a few others. They're pretty easy if you just listen to the demo.

I wanna see the first smuck who pays an extra 30000 mark-up for this car...lame

It looks like a G35 with a body kit.

Is it really as big in person as it looks in the pictures?

The Silicon Valley Auto Show

I just returned from the show. Having been to the SF Show in December '07 and now this one, I liked the San Jose show better. The STI is there, you can sit in it (but this probably has more to do with the fact that you can buy one now). I think the Audi R8 (locked but accessible) and Nissan GT-R was actually more accessible (still sectioned off), but they did open the doors, but not the hood. The Ferrari Owners Club display was worth the price of admission to me (but I've always been a Ferrari fanatic). It was also very cool to see the Z club cars and the older gray market Skyline, as well as the Bugatti Veyeron.

Me and my bro went yesterday and finally got to see the skyline in person. A lot nice rides at the sj auto show like the nissan nizmo, lexus IS f model, mustang bullet, and not to forget the 08 sti. I've seen the 08 sti at capital and didn't get to really sit inside until yesterday. We also had seen the evo x and I was a bit disappointed as far looks wise, evo ix looks way better.
