2010 San Jose Auto Show
Who made it out?
I missed the "tent" in the rear and was wondering what you guys thought of it.
Also, any pics?
Overall the show felt like I just spent a day going to all the dealerships in an automall.
And did I miss them? Where were the "concept cars"?

I went last Saturday; test drove the Fiesta & Tarus SHO. Did a lil stoplight to stoplight romp on the gas pedal, got all 4 tires to chirp. The Fiesta was a Euro spec one, manual transmission (no DSG, booh), and I drove the SHO in 'M' mode of course. It reminded me of an Audi, in a good way.
Show was a 'lil underwhelming overall, that red STi was a magnet for douchebags/tools/little kids going "oooh".
I usually spend most of my time explaining to people different technologies (DSG's, Direct Injection, Hybrid Modes, Flex Fuels, etc).
The Mazda2 will be the 3-door hatch version of that platform for the U.S., the Fiesta will not be sold in 3 door hatch body-style. For my $$, I like the look/feel of the Fiesta better.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Italian cars on display, the white blue f430's were gave me tingles in my man parts.
Yet again (SF Auto show was 1st time) I walked up to the new Challenger and noticed how the paint on the bumpers didn't match the body, and everyone noticed how the carbon fiber stripes were 'just stickers'.

Not exactly sure what they were making fun of. Most, if not all sequential race transmissions pull back to up-shift, and push forward to down-shift, just like this BMW does.

I liked the Rav4. It's huge. I can't believe how big it was. The gas mileage was good, great seating room front or back. Good storage. Available in AWD/4WD. Might just be the next car we buy when decide to have kids or need to rid ourselves of the two MBZ's we have (C240/ML320). Mainly cause the C240 is fairly small and the ML320 has eletrical gremlins, and I'm scared what may happen down the road.
