Question San Jose Alarm Company's

Looking for a recommendation here

My condo complex has had a few issues with break-in's recently and we have some pretty aggressive homeless living in the area.
With a new baby on the way I'm considering getting a security system for the home.

Here's the thing; the SJPD will no longer respond to Alarm calls. According to their website there were ~12,000 last year and 98% were false alarms so I understand why.
Based on that, It seems that the alarm company would need to have a quick (armed?) response team to make this worthwhile. So far I've only found one Alarm company in the area that has this, and I ain't too impressed with their customer service so far

Anyone have thoughts / recommendations?

You'd be amazed at what a great deterrent noise and lights can be, AKA an alarm.
