San Francisco Street Car in 1905 (Market St.)
Definitely a trip to watch! I can't believe how seamlessly the street cars, automobiles, and pedestrians interact without incident. Everyone seem aware of their surroundings and of how their actions interact with those of the machines around them. Oh what I wouldn't give for just a FRACTION of that awareness in out society today.

ya I remember seeing this vid last year, I drive through Market almost every day, crazy seeing it then, I can recognize alot of that.
On another note, I saw AIR when they played at Bimbos in 2007, first time they were here in over 10 year. Def one of the top 10 live shows Ive ever seen ,they rocked

Yeah, and there was not a single traffic light, either!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think pedestrians had the right of way back then (which is probably why they were actually paying attention to the cars around them). Now they do, and I swear it feels like some of them misuse it. Ok, I get it, you have the right of way... but that doesn't mean you have to take your SWEET *** TIME and hold up traffic!!
