Went back to china this previous summer for a Sichuan delegation to help the earthquake victims. Barely anything is fixed. The roads are cracked, the buildings are left demolished, and dinky little schools are setup up for temporary measure. Their bathroom was a wall, one side for the girls, and one side for the boys.

It was Calder Academy's Hope Envoy to Sichuan Delegation. They do a delegation every year to China. Being the male student leader was probably what rolled in all of my college acceptances this year.

And that is just from an earthquake... whats really depressing is what the chinese government does on a regular basis to its citizens.

even if that photographer was in a rolling safari mobile, wouldnt you jump out and at least hand the kid off to that UN 1 KM away or at least another human and take it out of the eyes of the vulture?

Yeah you "cant save em all" but cmon, if you can frame a shot of that kid you can spare his life from that vulture that pecked him to death. The photographer knew damn well what happened to that kid, thats why he offed himself!

This right here. If that happened to me and I knew the kid didn't make it, I would renounce all material possessions and live as a monk helping others for the rest of my life. Only if I literally had nobody related to me on Earth would I off myself.

How the hell did that photographer ever, EVER walk away from such a scene?? I would've spent the rest of my life in some ****hole African prison for cutting the relief line rather then to have that on my conscience.

I've hit birds and have turned around to pick them up off the road in hopes that they will make it lol you don't have to nurse it back to health, you just have to put out at least SOME effort!
