D'oh, just re-read it and saw he said that. That's good. I didn't want to get there right as they open and I don't want to miss the race. I've been to Sac racing before and sometimes the cars racing back out onto the road waiting to get in.

haha

11.0xxx was there best run of the night. I don't remember the trap, but I bet they could have gotten in to the 10s pretty easily. It was only their third run.

weren't you driving it Gary?

He sure was. That's why it's funny. The car definitely could have run 10's. But seeing that it was Gary's first trip on a drag strip and not knowing the car well, I'd say you did a damn good job driving the beast.

And surprisingly I didn't hear a lot of people talking crap about the car when it first came to the line. Then ripped off a 12.3 I think made people not want to say anything.

just got back from there and he took the first run easy, he crawled on the start and still ran a 12.3. so i'm guessing he's running high 10's easy.

i think the car can hit mid to low 10s easy. like said above, Gary had very little behind the wheel time in the L.

Great job though! And yeah, I didn't hear any one talking crap about it or the times. The car looked sick.

Weird, that was my guess too!

So what do i win Mike? haha

I think Gary and Mike just got bit by the drag bug.

I'm offering my pit crew services again for next week's test n' tune when you guys take the ESX out.

It was awesome hanging out with you guys.

Actually, for Gary's first time out at the drags, I think he did an outstanding job! Hats off to you sir. I'm very impressed.

The only thing he needed was a single clean pass and 10s would have been a walk in the park. Considering the health of the motor, it being in TT/TA trim, heat cycled non wrinkle wall slicks, etc, 11.0XX is very respectable.

Thanks for the awesome show GST motorsports.

Yea I agree. That was my wife's first trip to the drag strip ever and she enjoyed herself and that's saying something considering most car talk falls on deaf ears. ahahhah
