I was there, I ran in the last run group. I'm still 100% stock, so I ran in D Stock class. Ran two drivers on my car and melted my RE92s.
How did you do? What kind of times did you get?
My best time was just a smidge over 1.00 in an unofficial fun run. If you want, I can post pics later.

The event last weekend was an SCCA event at Cal Expo.
The next Autocross event is CSCC on June 7th and 8th:
http://www.csccautox.org/
Then SCCA on June 14th and 15:
http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Sacramento/sacschd2003.htm
Then CSCC on June 21st and 22nd.
Check out this SCCA webpage, there's links to information for people new to the sport. It's a lot of fun! Beware of catching the AutoX bug the very first time you race...

Edit: Sorry, forgot to include that last URL.

thanks for the warning about not catching the autox bug, but i think its too late. i already caught the "dirt bug" last weekend on the drive with psoper and bemani so im sure the autox bug is next!

Come out for the CSCC autoX! The reason there aren't much i-club Subies this past weekend is because most of us go to the CSCC one instead. There were so many Subies last time the announcer started making fun of the long line of blue WRXes
Ahhhh I see
You didn't go because they made fun of you! LOL come on - there where four BMW Z3 Coupes there. And you know everyone makes fun of them!
Seriously though I was there strictly as photographer.
I will catch the June event (also as photographer)

not familiar with the sac events. how many runs, and is the event much smaller than the sfr scca events ? (in other words, work groups don't run for up to an hour)
is it as well organized as the sfr scca events?
thanks!

The sac SCCA chapter is general more crowded than the CSCC events, and both are FAR less crowded than any bay area events
Max we get is about 100 cars. CSCC events have about 60-70 cars usually with about 20 per run group or less. For CSCC you get 5 runs plus as many fun runs as they can fit
SCCA is 4 runs with a more limited number of fun runs. They are organized just as well as the bay area events, but have even funnier color commentary
I didnt make it cause I had two papers to write and a test to study for, and my tires didnt come in yet.
My tires are here and installed, and I will own all in june
