Much different story on the way back
That's when you REALLY needed to catch up wasn't it? People were everywhere on the way back.

It wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't for the occasional group of bikes, brake fade and that F***ing white bus. What the hell was that about anyway?
It would have been tighter if those weren't in the mix because they weren't at all that bad on the drive up.

It was odd, when I was trying to catch up to everyone on the way up I only had to pass like 2 cars (I didnt wait for turn outs
) on mosquito ridge, and pretty much just went flat out... The way back completely sucked in comparison.

Good that we started out as early as we did - if we didn't finish the run until mid-afternoon, I can only imagine the traffic on the way back down...
To me, the scariest part of the traffic were the cyclists - if I came around a right-hander, I couldn't see them riding on the shoulder. And, sometimes there wasn't any shoulder!

Yeah, on the way back there was too many cars and bikes. Sean and I had a bar-b-q to get to that we were already late for. That's why we didn't go to the lunch.
It was a great run over all though, I think.
Lot's of fun.
