i seriously dont see how people can say its so pot holly and not smooth. You are the type of people who say that coilovers are only for track use because the ride is so "unbearable"

actually, i have coilovers on my daily driver and i think hamilton is too potholy (thought this even before i got the coilovers). I'm not really down with 5mph u-turns. theres a road near my crib.. smooth and fast. lots turns too. but only 1-2 of those super slow u-turns. and i dont even haveta deal wit potholes. its also wider, so u dont gotta worry about other bikers/cars as much.

If you remove travel by lowering and stiffen the shocks and springs, you get more grip in a parking lot but less real world grip on bumpy stuff. This is why the stock suspension is so good.

I could be totally wrong, but if you have a proper suspension setup, shouldn't you have pretty close to the same amount of travel, via a slightly shorter shock and whatnot?

Sorry for the hi-jack, but I think this topic is pretty much done anyway.

what's bad is both of those threads turned in to big flame fests and got closed. What a bunch of jack asses - it's too bad they couldnt get over their e-thuginess and work to help the guy who got thrown down a cliff.

Yer right, I was thinking of static ride height instead of travel.

I surf BARF occasionally and I don't really sense a lot of resentment or hostility in the use of the term cage or cager. A lot of guys will say things like, "I was in my cage" or "I was caging it that day". It's just a funky way riders refer to cars and trucks...the drivers do have a cage around them. If they are trying to belittle a cager it's almost always modified like, "fooktard cager" or "idiot cager on a cell phone".

yeah, leave that stuff to the rally drivers, ya track wuss!

My brain hurts after reading that thread on ClubRSX... People just don't understand that you never ever go over the median in a blind corner. The road is not yours.

anyone know how the rider came out of this...obviously broken leg but anything else? Dude is lucky as hell. People get killed in lesser accidents all the time.

All I can say is that my friends are a huge part of BARF. BTB Riders. I have a user name there. Many of the people there are really really cool. Some are cool but anti car and some are flat out dicks....just happened to be a few dicks on that post. As for clubRSX..didn't read the post but I will. All I know is that in general most honda boards are full of such idiots. I used to post on a couple of them all the time and I generally stayed out of anything not tech related cause people are stupid. I mean passing around a blind corner....if it was a huge truck he'd be the one that went to the hospital but sadly he'd probably still pass the blame because he really is that oblivious to the world.

personally I feel that our driving tests are way to easy. I am far from a racist so don't take this next statement that way. But basically we give drivers lisenses to people that can't even read the test. They have people come in and "translate" for them. Which from the things I've heard is they have someone come in and tell them the answers. People have no clue how to merge, get onto the freeway. That flicking your lights does mean move out of the fast lane cause you're going 55mph. How to freaking park. Then on the flip side we have people that think the world revolved around them. They can drive just fine and understand the rules but they don't care. They will talk on their cell phone while they cut off 4 people and nearly cause a huge pile up. They'll just merge in front of you oh wait that's being cut off.

Sorry I could go on for days but our damn driving tests need to be harder. Even though we'll still have to deal with dumb *** RSX driver guy doing what he did.

OK. I read bits and pieces of that RSX thread. Some decent thinking people there but man I am so pissed right now. I feel like going to their meet and kicking someone's ***...knocked someone out last night might as well make a week of it. I am generally a pieceful guy. I don't remember the last time I hit somene til last night and that was in defense of someone gettin jumped. But there are people on that thread saying that they should have taken off and left the guy down off the side of the road. What kind of freakin people are you. That should not even creap into your brain. LEAVE HIM....come on. I'm pissed.

Beyond that there are people pissed that they got intake tickets. Freakin morons. That dude just got his bike totalled flew over a car and off the road into a damn tree....and you're pissed about a $10 fix it ticket. Maybe you're *** should buy legal parts then. Stupid cops this...stupid guy this. Man you're homey just did something illegal and stupid and nearly killed a dude and you're upset about $10 and a half hour of labor?

I'd post this there...but the thread is locked down as it should have been. I'm pissed.
