The funny thing is.... looking at the ESP times I think Rob, Chris and Paul would have taken the top 3 spots there had they been running race rubber. Hmmmm. Anyhow... STX is where the cool folks are (Tyler... when are you joining us). Oh, BTW it's only a matter of time before Tim and Lorry join us.

Hey I noticed that a fair number of WRX's in our run group DID NOT WORK!!
If your not planning on working don't bother showing up...
wow.... 1st through 4th covered by a second!!
the top 3 in STX were in the top 20 in pax for the day...

Man, STX is becoming VERY competitive!
I placed 6th in STX.....which would normally sort of bum me out.....except I realize I ALSO paxed 52nd overall (out of 315). Highest PAX (as a percentage of overall entrants) that I've ever had in an SFR event, so I'm very happy about that! Feels like the car is finally starting to "Flow" for me.
Like Rob, I had an even better third run going.....until I messed it up
. Hit a cone (even though they didn't call it....didn't matter as the time was slower anyways) on that last "kink" before the last big U-turn, and slowed WAY down trying to avoid it. DOH!
I agree with Chris though, I think that if we'd been in ESP that John Lawrence still would have beat all of us. No shame in that though, as John is an EXCELLENT driver who has made many other "very very good" drivers look slow in events I've been at
