Every morning on the way to work with the windows down I get near the Catz Restaurant off of HWY 17 at the bottom of the hill there is this rotting corps/dead body smell permeating in the air. Anyone else smell it?

Odyss3y must smell it since he rides a motorcycle to work.

Interesting how you can distinguish the smell to be a rotting corpse... Is there something you aren't telling us Kurlee? Dun dun dun!

 

LOL!!!! Nah man. It just smells like rotten eggs or rotting flesh right there by the Catz restaurant. Maybe they have been cooking up some roadkill or something. Everytime I get close to there I have to roll up my windows or else the smell makes me want to gag.

I dont know of this catz restaurant you speak of, I smell the rotten egg fart smell as soon as you get out of the redwood cuts heading southbound on 17 right before the Scotts Valley Drive exit.

Its probably a dead animal, deer and coons are getting hit all the time on that stretch. They run to cross the highway then find a double high devider half way there and SMACK! get hit.
I have witnessed this several times from the Inprise building that overlooks the highway.

 

Actually the Catz place is right out of Los Gatos where the hill on HWY 17 starts. There is a walking trail over on the side as well as a creek. Something died there because it stinks bad.

havent smelled it... that whole section only lasts about half to maybe a full breath on the bike
