Once you take that socket out, he has the right to defend himself in pretty much anyway possible. However, if you wanted to fight him that bad, should of just done a fair fight. Any sucker can bust out a tool and woop Tyson's a$$.
Btw, if someone charged at me with a socket I'd get my glock out as well (ofcourse if I had one at the time).

if you read it clearly i said socket HEAD as in the adapter maybe i used the wrong name of tools.But to me its a socket head. i had it in my fist as you would a roll of pennies.

awww, man that's a misleading title!! when you said you guys pulled over, i thought it was going to end with an exchange of "sorrys" and some hand shakes..maybe even a group hug. 
glad to hear no one was too badly hurt and that no one was thrown in jail. i really don't think telling this story on any forum, or pay back for some dings on your car would have been worth it had this gotten any more heated. but honestly, had i been in your shoes it would have taken a lot of will power on my side not to turn around and let it be.
