not fixed. i'd say the concept of riding a bike verses driving my car is an example of not being lazy. maybe it's more an example of being cheap.

what happens when you are flying and just wanna coast? do the pedals start spinning around n around ? and then how would i break suddenly? time my feet on the flying around pedals and stomp the bike?

My Chrome bag is really comfortable and is very practical when riding. I also use it for school and when I traveled around Europe last semester.

Anyways, Buy a bike off of craigslist. If you don't know much about bikes become friends with someone who does that can check out bikes with you to make sure you are not getting ripped off.

Also, I am still trying to figure out why people in SF ride fixed because single gears SUCK for hills. I can understand why they are popular in London and New York, but not SF.

You dont take your feet off the pedals. No coasting. You push back against the pedlas and lock the back wheel up.

Just relax your legs if you want to coast. Just run a brake =)

eh, i have absolutely no purpose for one.. I'd rather be able to shift gears and get around without any real effort haha.
