I agree that its the lack of mods, or appearance there of that are causing them to want to race. Even ricers know that obviously modded subies are usually around 300 or more to the wheel and arent to be trifled with. (in my experience anyway  ) Also, that its the area. I used to live in Huntington Beach, work in San Diego, and would go to LA all the time. Even though the first Fast N Furious movie was filmed there, no one told them that its just a movie, not real life lol.
Now I live in Fairfield and have only been challenged once by some Air Force guy in an SRT Caliber...but I was in my Navy uniform so it was more about branch of service than anything else lol. (he was in uniform as well and we were leaving base)

It is not LA's fault its the OPs fault sorry to say. This is an outsiders view.
Simple way around this. When they are slowing down you hit the gas and get in front of them and dive normal. They will probably tail gate but meh brake check them if that bothers you.
I think teh OP is a ricer. They dont seem to bother me at all.
All of the above is void depending where in LA you live.

Haha OP is not a ricer, far from it - it is just LA's fault
Robs car looks so stock that maybe people will try to race because they think he doesn't have full mods and etc, looks like he just has a catback

FMIC, Big brakes, ect ect no one tries to race me
"EQ Tuning" sounds like an audio company to someone not familiar with them. I don't think the stickers have anything to do with people trying to race you.
Try driving your car with two hands, less recline and no gangsta' lean! It works wonders.

Sigma, how would speeding up and getting in front of them defuse the situation? lol
Four vs. Two, I def don't need to explain my driving style to you, but I will since you are a smart ***. I don't have subs, speakers or bass for days. I am a very offensive drive while have my seat up right. My seat is closer to the steering wheel then some of my friends that are half a foot shorter. No "gangsta" leans here.
Thanks Brian. I am so far from being ricer. haha I'm like the anti-rice of the WRX world. It's probably just LA... maybe not the stickers. lol
