Who's going? Who's been? I have always wanted to go, and will be heading down this year. Working for a while, but then running around w/ the camera the rest of the time I am sure. Where are good places to catch action? Anyone have any tips? Yay!

Oh boy, I want to go soooooo badly, but I can't miss even a day of school. Who is driving down and when do you plan to depart and return? If I can't go, someone's gotta get me a souvenir.

Ahhh- so that's where it went, I'll be sending the Petaluma PD around to visit your mom and gather that up before next week! (a little advice- don't post stuff like this to a forum where people in the organization you ripped off might be lurking)

If she's racing I doubt she'll have much of a chance to get you anywhere, but the "official spectator area" is at the start of the 2nd stages in Hungry Valley, which is a really great spot, and you can probably get out to some of the other turns in the OHV park there apart from the official area.

But the other two forest stage areas are not at all spectator friendly this year, The south end of Del Sur ridge is totally washed out, and the north end is gated.
Up on Santa Clara divide, all of the other access roads are washed out and the stage roads are pretty brutally rough too, so its not going to be as fast up there, and probably not that great for spectating even if you can get in and out without suffering a flat.

Why do you want to be edumacated for? I is doin fine wif a 3rd grade edumacation . School's more important. You don't want to turn out like me.

What day and time is the north bay crew leaving and where are you guys staying. I have to be back by sunday since it's mother's day.

Roo and I will be there for sure; we're working Friday night (Del Sur I - Finish 2 / Start 3) and Saturday morning (North Boundary I & II - Start 5 & 7).

Is anyone from the North Bay leaving before Friday? We'll be outta here Thurs morning, staying at the Essex House (headquarters).

Cool, I'll be the CRO at both of your controls!

Del Sur is going to be challenging, we have to turn everybody around and line them up on the road leaving room for other cars to go past, and it's pretty narrow.

North Boundary start is where the spectator area is so its gonna be a circus.

I think the whole weekend should be great- provided the weather isn't crappy

I think we are going to head down Friday after work. I am waiting to find out if Steve can get out of work that Saturday. If we are able to go, you are welcome to ride/caravan with us. I want to go so bad!
