Talking Resonator pipe replacement...

Anyone know where I can get a pipe to replace the midpipe, the one with the resonator?

I am aiming to make my exaust a little bit louder, but not replace the whole exhaust.

This is what you're looking for, it's by MadDad. It looks like a very promising product and I was going to order one (but am broke at the moment).

Here's a link to their web site too:

I wonder what it would cost to have a muffler shop make you one?

It would costs under $100 for a shop to weld one for you, although you wouldn't get the flex joint. I took mine in to a shop to have a rattle hunted down(one of the welds on a hanger broke) and he asked how much I paid then chuckled and said it would have been less than $100. I have the maddad twindump DP, 3rd cat eliminator, and 3" halfback and the whole combo was a tad pricey. Just changing the resonator pipe doesn't do much in terms of volume though. My car isn't that loud at all with the stock muffler on, although when it's cold it sounds MEAN.

What I've heard is that it's not all that great for gains, it will give you something, but the price may not be worth it for the slight gain.
