Remote and area interference?

Does anyone experience problems with the keyless remote in certain parts of the city? Mine works well in most place, I can arm it from like 50' away. But in Noe Valley, it doesn't work worth crap. I have to stand right next to my car, like 4" away and press the button several times. Anyone know why this is? and if I can do anything about it? I'm gonna be moving to Noe Valley next month, so its gonna be annoying.

I've heard about this problem in S.F., especially in the twin peaks area.

its called RF. =) Ever hear about the RF problems in Las Vegas? City wide, keyless entry systems break because of **** the gov/mil broadcasts.

Are there any military bases in or near Noe Valley? Or giant cell phone towers, or lots of massive power lines that hum?
