That's so cool. Yeah, I love F1, but after his death I lost my taste for watching it as well. I watch here and there, but it was never the same for me without him.

I was a teenager when the incident happen and didn't (more like couldn't even if I wanted to) watch F1 as much, so I didn't grasp the magnitude of it until much later

And SpeedHunters posted another article with a couple videos regarding Senna and his connection with Honda.

RIP.
It's crazy that it's been twenty years. I have watched that several times now, and still can't make it through without tears. I guess I am just that guy.

The one thing that hits me so hard, aside from knowing that I am watching a man do something I could never do, is that he was shifting manually, operating a vehicle that the best of us would be LUCKY to keep on a track for one whole lap. Sometimes of course, he just used one gear. I don't even..

I have never seen anything so amazing since. The drivers today are incredible and there is no denying that - but Senna was on another level.

I can watch most of it and be fine, but even as soon as they start showing the shots from that weekend at Immola, I start getting anxious. For sure I can't watch the incident without tears. There are a lot of great drivers, but I've definitely never seen anyone else quite like him.

I think most of us who remember him in such a strong way were in a certain age range. Before that, I never missed a race, ever. After that...it was difficult.

Yeah it's tough to watch, though, I think I tear up way more when he's just whooping the track on a quali lap then when he died or someone else died.

When I watched Senna in the theaters it was in Palo Alto. LOTS of old white folks. Not likely that any of them were into F1, cause man, the first shot of that guy that was pretzeled on the pavement... people were GOING APE ****. One guy gave out a crazy loud yelp, and it spooked me to hear him react like that. (Though, I was good... I've see 90% of that movie's footage already)
