Nice words... I would also add "Live it like you want to remember it" because sometimes it's really important to analyze a situation and do your best to make it become something you are happy and proud to look back on. We have a daughter on the way and it's been just crazy taking it all in. I hope I am not a crappy dad.

I didn't have a good example of a father until my teen years and my biggest fears in life are being a failure as a father and a husband... but I tell you what I've learned so far.

Work was slow yesterday, so the wife and I left early to take our 8 month old to the Oakland zoo. He enjoyed himself and stayed awake for the time we were there. He was intenting staring at the elephant as it was right in front of us, really close.

That was really nice, Ray. It only gets better. 
I was unemployed for around a year when our first daughter was younger and it was the greatest blessing I could have ever wished for. Though it ****ed us up financially, I wouldn't trade that time for anything. I only wish I could have taken a year off for our second.
