It's a controversial drink that combines alcohol and energy drinks which is going to be banned soon due to the adverse effects, one of them being the "four lokos stories" which can be found here:

Love these things. Too bad they're so bad for me. They're big hits amongst snowboarders in mountain towns like mine.
One time after drinking a couple of these and a few beer pong games later I slept on the hood of my WRX so I can definitely see how people are putting themselves at risk with these.

I'm gonna be saying "WHO WAS PHONE?!" for weeks now...

I only like the watermelon flavored ones, it reminds me of a jolly rancher. Well its like 7-8 shots of vodka in a can I think. Well thats not bad, cocaine on a budget.

I don't understand why they are such a huge hit all the sudden, vodka and redbull, jagerbombs all been around forever and this fourloco **** is banned in a couple states?

college kids realize it's cheaper to drink four locos and get f'd up rather than keystone. Not like it makes anything better but..

Sparks has been around for forever. i dunno why 4 Locos is all of the sudden in the lime light (or lack there of) and gonna be banned. Yeah its only 6% but its still the same concept. Booze + Energy = WIN!!! SO much other stuff people could be worrying about.

I've noticed at the local store that all the sparks were now 12%. I guess they were trying to compete with four lokos? They were actually much cheaper than a four loko to. I think banning four lokos is just removing one drink and making room for another to come in and take its place. Nothing will change.
My friend is obsessed with four lokos. So much that he has been stocking up boxes of four lokos in anticipation of the ban.
