recommendation for an AC repair shop
anyone have recommendation on AC repair/recharge in the bay area. preferably in san ramon or nearby.
i just bought a conversion kit from kragen and filled up with R134a but the AC wasn't blowing cold air.
car is a project car (91 legacy).

hmmm, I tried the kragen stuff too and that doesn't seem to work for me neither. Would be nice to know a good a/c repair shop. Or maybe it might just be my a/c belt.

thanks for the reply. another thing to do for the project car. after getting the AC to work, i'll need to look up stupiddent to get a dry fog odor removal done.....
well, you said you charged the system with r134a, did you check the pressure after the charge? if yes, check it again, does it hold?
next, check the compressor... does it even turn on?
if no, this part is the tricky part, you'll need to check the voltage reading from various location. i would check at the compressor (multiple locations there) and at the receiver dryer.
good luck
